Pueblo tranquilo

This piece was inspired by the warm, colorful sunsets of small Latin American towns. I wanted to capture feeling of a typical village on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

I primarily work with repurposed fabrics, embracing their rich variety of textures. I always include at least one piece of denim, one of the most commonly used and discarded textiles. Each composition is created through a mix of machine and hand stitching and embroidery.

The artwork is shipped unframed, attached on a cardboard board for easy handling.
